On the eve of Christmas Eve, USLsoccer.com chats with the Quickstrike SC U14 girls' Chatham Deprospo. Her team had an above-average season, barely missing out on a berth in the North American Finals. They finished the season with a 7-3-1 season, one point behind TSF Academy and one point ahead of City Islanders Academy. Deprospo scored three goals and three assists on the season.
USLsoccer.com: What are you doing to stay match-ready during the holidays to be successful at the upcoming SYL ODP Camps in March 2010?
Chatham Deprospo: I am working out three times per week with a trainer and am going to the Orange Classic to play over the Christmas break. I am also trying to stay away from my mom's homemade cookies.
USLsoccer.com: What is the best Christmas/Hanukkah present you have ever received?
Chatham Deprospo: I just got a cute puppy, she is a snow white Highland Terrier named Chloe. She is very cute but she can only pass me the ball with her right paw.
USLsoccer.com: What is the worst Christmas/Hanukkah present you have ever received?
Chatham Deprospo: One year I got a head massager in our family grab bag.
USLsoccer.com: How do you think the USA will fare at the 2010 World Cup?
Chatham Deprospo: Go USA! I think they will get through the first round but it will be tough from there on....
USLsoccer.com: If you attended the SYL North American Finals - how did your team do? What were some of your best memories?
Chatham Deprospo: We just missed the finals by one point but I am going to work hard with all of my teammates and hope to get back there next year.

Chatham Deprospo: Abby Wambach because she would be the tallest Santa ever!
USLsoccer.com: What is one thing on your Christmas list you know you are not getting?
Chatham Deprospo: Having my room at home remodeled.

Chatham Deprospo: I love the advent calendar because my mom still tries to convince me that the little elves put the candy inside....
